Spot icons set for Wise (formerly TransferWise)
Deliverables.
Spot, also called illustrative, icons system, designed for Wise (formerly TransferWise). The set worked as an integral brand element and was being used inside the app and multiple marketing places, including landing pages, news letters and emails.
Guidelines.
Visually, spot icons are larger and more detailed than system icons, but simpler and less metaphorical than brand illustrations. Complete guidelines were needed to distinguish between these different creative assets, including their location and application rules, and the messages that require different assets.
Animated spot icons.
In cooperation with the product team, we created an extra set of animated spot icons. They were mainly used for the verification product flows. Their straight-to-the-point design worked as an additional conformation for the users that a specific action was happening or was to happen.
